Overview
This tow-behind offset flail mower turns an ATV or UTV into a property maintenance machine for uneven, overgrown and rough ground around homes, farms and commercial land. It cuts a 40" path, offsets to reach under trees and along buildings, and runs on its own electric start 13.5 HP engine.

Tidy Finish Behind It
I use this behind our UTV on rough grass and scrub around the block, and the rear roller leaves a neater finish than I expected. The side shift helps a lot near fence lines and scattered gums.

Tough as nails!
Man this machine is tough as nails (40"Atv Flail Mower) ! The machine will cut more than advertised as it has the power to do so. Ive been using this mower for about 2 weeks now, and its being used on a field that hasn't been mowed for 30 years plus with small saplings, very tall grass ect. The centrifugal clutch will help, if you do hit some larger soil mounds, tougher brush or barb wire that a guy didn't see!!! by allowing the mower to disengage till less resistance is possible. I would recommend this product.

Super Good Field Mower
My Fields were sagebrush & rocks until a few years ago, when we cleared them. This mower now keeps the fields looking good with just cruising around on my 4x4. (AFM-40)

Just mowed 2 acres.
Put my side by side in 4 wheel drive and this little 40 inch flail mower followed me anywhere I wanted to take it. Used the offset option to keep an eye on it with my side mirror. Completed 4 acres of mowing up and down hills, around sage brush and scrub oak. Very happy with my purchase so far.

Great Purchase. Solidly built and very efficient rough cut flail mower
Very well built mower that performs as advertised. Handles even small saplings without missing a beat. Cleared a lot of a little over an acreage in record time. The adjustable deck height is easy to use. Powerful engine and an almost full sized battery makes starting the unit easy.
Shipping was quick and efficient and the customer service team at TMG was super helpful.
One small hiccup was the float bowl was loose and had a small bit of dirt on the gasket that caused a fuel leak. Ten minutes and some cleaning fixed it right up and there were no other issues.

Pretty good mower
The staff were friendly and helpful through the purchase process. I have used the mower once, so far. It works as advertised. It appears that changing the belts may be difficult when it’s time for that.
