Overview
This 40 in. flail mower turns a 6-8 ton excavator into a tool for clearing brush, brambles and saplings around ponds, creeks, ditches, railways and slopes that a regular rotary mower cannot reach. The boom puts the cutter on high limbs and down banks, and the flail knives leave small, even debris that can stay on the ground to break down.
What it does
- Cuts a 40 in. path through brush and small trees.
- Keeps an even cut on slopes with self-leveling, adjustable skid shoes.
- Drives the cutter drum through a belt transmission.
- Runs at up to 2,900 psi of hydraulic pressure.
- Arrives fully assembled, with belt and bearing covers.
What your machine needs
