Overview
This mid-rise portable scissor lift is an easy step up from jacks and stands for personal garages, small shops, detail shops and service bays. It is rated at 6000 lb and lifts most cars, trucks and SUVs to 48" for repairs, fluid changes and wheel work. Because it lies flat and the power unit rides on its own cart, the whole setup can be rolled aside when you need the bay back.

Awesome product
Excellent & easy process, beginning with order placement, product tracking, delivery schedule & final set up of lift.
Manual recommends 20amp breaker for power supply, not an issue for me as I have a detached garage & it was wire for shop use.
I only mention this because most household garage power outlets are wire for 15amp service.
I purchased the lift to facilitate the removal of the rear sub-frame (complete with rear differential) from my son’s 2013 VW Tiguan 4motion.
The labour charges quoted by the local VW dealership to carry out the repair far exceeded the cost of the TMG lift.
My only regret is I should have purchased this lift years ago. Even simple maintenance jobs such as : winter / summer tire change over, oil changes, brake repairs are so much easier to do.Ian G. · · TMG Industrial customer

6000 lb Scissor Lift
I was throwing around the idea of putting a hoist in my shop for awhile but I've been limited as to what I can due to a 10 foot ceiling height. I was also concerned with the stress put on my concrete floor from a two post with no top beam. I had never really considered a scissor hoist until I started researching hoists and quickly decided that was the way for me to go. So far I am very impressed with this hoist. I had it operational within about an hour after receiving it. I've had my truck and side by side on it and I'm currently building a platform so I can put my atv and snowmobile on it as well. The only downfall I've found so far is that there is no lock right at maximum height. To let it on the lock I lose about 7 inches of height. I would definitely recommend it. It is a great all around hoist.

Residential/Farm delivery
I was contacted ahead of time to confirm shipping details and was asked if I had a way to unload my hoist from the delivery truck. I said I could do it with my tractor which I was told would be fine. On delivery day I received a call about an hour before the truck arrived. The driver and I were able to unload the hoist with his skid cart and lift gate and didnt even need my tractor. Overall I was very satisfied with delivery.

Great Quality
I paid $2300 in total after a $200 coupon.
This item would NOT fit on any freight companies lift gate in my area (Des Moines, Ia) which was frustrating, but resolved. You WILL need a loading dock or forklift on delivery. I had mine delivered to a business and used two pallet jacks to move it in and out of a cargo trailer after it was delivered via a semi and off loaded with a forklift.
Customer service @ TMG was friendly and helpful to the best of their ability, and shipping was fast. 2 weeks from the day I ordered it until delivery.
The item arrived in excellent condition and appears to be of very HD quality with no questionable welds, etc.
It’s wrapped up pretty good, so peel it like a banana and slide it off the pallet using a few ropes for leverage. It only took about 30 minutes to put it together and get it operational. I used 5 1/2 quarts of Dexon III ATF. 6 is too much, so you’ve been warned.
It has plenty of power and lifts a midsized SUV effortlessly. And I have plenty of clearance without using ramps under all my factory mid sized SUV’s. I have no doubts about it being completely acceptable for a full size truck or SUV.
It’s only shortcoming so far are the length of the arms. It’s fine for a vehicle with a frame like pictured, but pinch welds way out on the sides are too far of a stretch and I’m not gonna chance it anywhere else on my other two vehicles. TMG does not sell longer arms and they will cost you at least $175 a pair or more if you can find them. Mine areCraig S. · · TMG Industrial customer

Wicked Hoist
This was my first purchase from TMG Industrial. It will not be my last. The customer service has been amazing. I was concerned about delivery because I have no way to offload anything like this. It ended up not being an issue at all. Delivery was right on schedule. They offloaded the unit into my home shop. From there, basically the entire unit just slides right out of the box ready for hydraulic fluid.

TMG-ALS61 Scissor Lift
I was needing a scissor table lift to service my tractor and large side by side. I'm getting too old to stand on my head to do this work. There wasn't anything available in Canada that would handle the table size and weight I needed. So I bought this 6000 lb lift and built a 5' by 8' table on top of it out of full 2" thick 6" and 8" sawmill lumber. This has worked perfectly to do the work I needed to do. The lift came almost fully assembled right out of the box and was easy to set up and operate.

It is a popular choice for home garages with low ceilings because it tops out at 48". Measure your ceiling against the vehicle height plus 48" before you order.
The power unit runs on 120 V.
Large items ship by LTL freight on a pallet. It is delivered curbside. If you asked for a call-ahead in the cart, the carrier phones you first to book a window. If you have no forklift or dock, the driver uses a liftgate to lower the crate to the ground.
Shipping damage is covered when you report it within 48 hours of delivery, with photos. Defects are handled under the manufacturer's warranty. Add change-of-mind returns at checkout and you can send it back unused, in its original packaging, within 30 days of delivery. You pay the return freight.
