The TMG-WC42 Sub Compact 3-Point Wood Chipper is the quintessential add-on accessory needed at your home, acreage or farm. Compatible with 30-50 HP tractors, this woodchipper comes with a category one, 3-point shear pin PTO shaft. That means easy hook up and energy transfer between this unit and your machine without the hassle of separately starting it by hand.

Picking up logs, branches and debris is usually time and energy consuming. However, whether you're pruning, cleaning up from a storm or just processing general gardening waste, our sub compact wood chipper makes the milling work on your property effortless and fun to do.

A 20" x 20" hopper and 4" x 10" intake opening allows fallen trees and underbrush to be processed with efficiency and ease. Timber up to 4" in diameter and of any sort can simply be manually fed into the hopper and you'll watch this chipper eat it up in a matter of seconds. It has a self-balanced, oversized and heavy duty steel flywheel capable of storing huge amounts of potential energy for long days of spring cleaning and winter preparation. The flywheel is housed in a sleek and protective hinged clamshell design making blade changes no trouble at all. Plus the industrial and greaseable flanged bearings make for a machine that is strong, heavy-duty, reliable and requiring very little maintenance.

When it comes to dependable, versatile hook ups for your tractor, this wood chipper is hard to beat. Property maintenance is no longer a chore but something exciting and economical. The 60" discharge chute rotates 360 degrees and can direct wood chips accurately into a dump trailer or pick up box. Excellent product but disappointing after sale support

The chipper was delivered on time and was very well packed. It was very easy to assemble, taking about 2 hours for me and my wife, and the instructions were excellent. We then used the chipper for about 4 hours per day on cedar and fir branches for 4 or 5 days. It easily chipped branches up to about 3" in diameter (anything larger i cut up for firewood) Just as a test, I tried chipping a 4" diameter arbutus branch (arbutus is a very dense hardwood) and at first it slowed down slightly but then sped back up and chipped without a problem. The safety shutoff switch bar around the intake chute works instantly if you push it while feeding wood, a good safety feature. A couple of times, a piece of chopped wood got caught sideways in the chipper bar and we had to stop the chipper. The design, with pivot pins on one side if the intake chute and only two nuts to remove on the other side, made clearing the obstruction quick and very easy. Once, we got the chipper plugged with smaller debris and couldn't get the blade to rotate backwards to clear it. We removed 4 bolts on the belt cover and easily reversed the chipper blade by using the belts to accomplish this. Overall, I am delighted with this purchase - with only one exception. When closing the input chute, i neglected to hold the thick gasket in place (my error) and it got chewed up by.the blade.I called TMG's parts department and was advised to make a new one as they didn't have one in stock. I also wanted to order a spare blade set but they didn't have this either, it would have to be shipped from China. I suggest that if TMG are going to sell these chippers, they should stock basic items for replacement. I can only hope that future support is better. I'd give the chipper a 5/5 but TMG only a 4/5 for selling a good product but failing to properly provide after purchase support.

What chipper

As of today at 17:00 hrs this machine has not been delivered. It was promised ,again, for today so obviously it is still lost. I will proceed with a refund demand .
TMG, for whatever reason, refuses to take responsibility and appropriate actions to fulfill this order!

The wood chipper is a beast, it chews through hard wood like magic. It's built to last, with easy to access blades for when they require a sharpening, overall we recommend this product.

Great little chipper

Chipper arrived quickly, unpacking and assembly was easy, took me about an hour by myself. Hooked it up and got to work chipping several large piles of brush I've been collecting, it chipps well and eats up the brush faster than I can feed it.

I gave it 4 stars because the build quality could be a little better but at this price point I have no complaints about the performance. I could have spent double for a locally built machine but for the few hours of use per year I'll use it, it was a great purchase
