Before you order
Mark out 12 x 20 ft on level ground and leave working room all around for fitting the film and rolling the sides. This listing gives no snow load or wind rating, so if your site sees heavy snow or strong wind, contact us before you order.
Features
-
Hand-crank roll-up sidesEach side wall rolls up with a hand crank, so you can open the house to airflow on warm days and close it again before evening.
-
Clear 6 mil EVA filmThe cover is clear EVA plastic film, 6 mil thick, that lets direct sunlight through to warm the soil and the air inside.
-
Wiggle wire includedWiggle wire comes with the kit and locks the film into channels along the frame.
-
Galvanized steel frameThe frame is galvanized steel, which resists rust in the damp air inside a greenhouse.
-
Peak ceiling roofThe roof rises to a peak along the center line, so rain runs off both sides.

Space That Works
Best part is the layout. I can keep trays on one side, potted starts on the other, and still have a clear path through the middle when things get busy.

So far so good, only put it up few days ago. Rusted a bit on the frame in the box, painted it with metal paint upon assembly.

Great product, great service!
The cold frame was delivered very quickly and everyone I spoke with was extremely pleasant and very helpful. This cold frame has many more included features that other options on the market that are selling for higher prices. Very pleased with my purchase.

Questions buyers ask
This 12 ft wide model is also listed in 30 ft, 40 ft and 60 ft lengths.
No. It is a cold frame design: sunlight warms the soil and the air inside, and the structure holds that heat without a heating system.
With wiggle wire, which is included. It presses the 6 mil EVA film into lock channels on the galvanized steel frame.
It depends on your county. Check with your local building department before you order. The permit note above says what we know about this model.
Structures ship by LTL freight on a pallet. It is delivered curbside. If you asked for a call-ahead in the cart, the carrier phones you first to book a window. If you have no forklift or dock, the driver uses a liftgate to lower the crate to the ground.
Shipping damage is covered when you report it within 48 hours of delivery, with photos. Defects are handled under the manufacturer's warranty. Add change-of-mind returns at checkout and you can send it back unused, in its original packaging, within 30 days of delivery. You pay the return freight.
