Overview
This 48 in. finish mower gives a compact tractor a clean, lawn-quality cut on large yards, acreages, paddocks and commercial grounds. It hangs on the three-point hitch, runs off the PTO, and the floating hitch keeps the deck following the ground on rougher properties.

I received my new mower just in time.e to do a final cut on my 10 acres.
It does a great job and saves me a lot of time compared to using my ride on mower.

Quality machine
Bought the 48” for my JD 1025R
Shipping was faster than it said on the website. I was pleasantly surprised at how heavy the steel is and the overall quality of build. The setup was fairly easy but you do need some 90 weight gear oil before you can start cutting. After a quick greasing, I was straight to cutting and was quite pleased with the cut quality. It does scalp a touch more than TMT rider mower, but that’s just me needing to adjust to the cut direction/slope of the property. Coming from a riding mower, the cutting power with this style of mower is ridiculous. I’m running a 24 hp tractor and this mower never bogs down, even in an overgrown field. I bought the 48” thinking I’d want the smaller size to get into more places around the house/sheds. Seeing how easily the tractor handles it, I wish I had of got the 60”. Large items ship by LTL freight on a pallet. It is delivered curbside. If you asked for a call-ahead in the cart, the carrier phones you first to book a window. If you have no forklift or dock, the driver uses a liftgate to lower the crate to the ground.
Shipping damage is covered when you report it within 48 hours of delivery, with photos. Defects are handled under the manufacturer's warranty. Add change-of-mind returns at checkout and you can send it back unused, in its original packaging, within 30 days of delivery. You pay the return freight.
