Overview
This ditch bank flail mower is made for the ground a standard mower cannot reach: ditches, road edges, stream banks and slopes. The hydraulic offset arm swings the head to the right and tilts it up or down, so you mow the bank while the tractor stays on level ground.
What it does

Shipping was great packaged really well. I used it on brush and it worked good. Only problem I had was grease fitting on right side kept on breaking off. I fixed that problem by putting in an alloy steel grease fitting

Works great and does what I expected
Had this out a few times now a d very pleased with the results. I bought it for cutting ditch edge as well as keeping small brush and grass cut at bush line on edge of farm field. It is cutting through small woody plants, grass and weeds with no effort at all. Very happy with the quality and the results and would recommend this product to anyone.

Well built , two man job installing for the first time.
Was worried about the offset weight to the one side of tractor but it’s barely noticeable. I have a Kioti 4710 , 45 horse power with loaded tires. Safe alternative

Great attachment
Purchased this 60” offset flail mower a month ago. Have used for 6 hours now mowing fields, ditch sides and trails. With the hammer teeth it works better with brush and small trees than grass (a higher horse power tractor may fix this issue of bogging down in thick grass). When it landed the pto shaft had one of the safety chains broke off from shipping and they were quick to send a replacement. Great service and great machine so far.

60" offset ditch bank flail mower
Support and delivery were seamless. I was able to track it easily. The carrier contacted me to schedule the delivery and the driver called to update his arrival time, then showed up exactly as planned.
Packaging was good except that part of the hitch was sitting on top of the mower and rubbed some of the paint off. I could use some touch up paint to cover it in an attempt to avoid corrosion.
Assembly was easy with no help needed. I used a floor jack to support the 3 point hitch end while installing the pins/bolts. I was easily able to adjust the cutting height by lowering the skids and rear roller. There are only 2 heights to choose from and while I'm not finish mowing, I put it in the high cut position to help avoid any potential rocks.
The unit works well. I was able to mow along the ditch of a 1/4 mile driveway with no issues. Adjusting the level and angle worked very well and exactly what I needed for this job.Rick B. · · TMG Industrial customer

Good 60 in Offset Ditch Bank Flail Mower with 90° Tilt
Come in a box in 3 parts well protect, easy to assemble you will need pipe wrench and 1 liter 90W gear oil, the arm and hydrolic is solid and well made, the drum is solid and it do very good job to cut grass. I have Kubota B26 and it have no broblem to cut 1 in tree
Con: grass will accumulate between front chain and box you will have to clean each time you use to prevent rust, the harmmer is not the best (need to be more solid) if you have rock event small 2 in diameter you will break harmmer, after 3 hour of opération i have 6 harmmer totaly destroy be aware to have no rock go in drumMartin D. · · TMG Industrial customer

Great little machine
I use this for my ditches near my driveway, to cut through tree encroaching growth (it can take on small trees easily), and works great for cutting under horse fences.
I have a 60 inch on a Kubota l2501 and it works great.
Just don't make my mistake and please remember it doesn't ship with oil in the gearbox. It has warnings everywhere but again, make sure to add oil before running it!Joseph A. · · TMG Industrial customer

TMR 60” offset ditch mower
Shipping was fast and all parts arrived , assembly was straight forward . Unit is well built (hammers are easily chipped ,so might break with rock contact ,TMG should offer a spring metal blade ) overall worked and did the job . Had small issue with hydraulic cylinder leak at a weld but was quickly rectified under warranty . Great after purchase costumer service, Murray Gillespie thanks again.

I have assembled the mower and tested. Everything appears being of good design and quality . I would recommend they include a better assembly instruction as it is none existent . You will require a second set of hands in the assembly .

Versatile mower!
I bought this mower to do everything, and it does: deep ditch banks, brushy forest edges, low hanging trees, big hedges, and flat grass. I paired it with a 26hp Kubota LX - plenty of power to absolutely destroy everything in its path (including 2x6 tree stakes). It takes some getting used to having the mower swinging around in the extended position, but the tractor handles it without any additional ballast. For finish mowing, learning to cut in square patterns (to avoid turning) and spending time adjusting height has yielded results as good as a finish mower.
