Shear Bolts

Just getting ready to try out for the weekend.Unit should have a few Shear bolts sent with it. That would be Great instead of searching all over for size and grade?

100in flail mower

Took a little bit to put together and tighten all bolts once its set up it works great. Slower speed for 2.5 to 3 in brush and poplar trees but rose bushes are just turned into mulch highly recomended

Fence line clearing on a farm

Over all a good flail mower, excellent for the price over others. Have around 35 hours on the unit. Would have been nice if TMG would have put out a set up You Tube along with maintenance. Requires 3 drive belts, they come ready to go, but have to tension up after they stretch. Cleared mainly brush and small poplar trees up to maybe 4 inches, it did well on the. 2" was easy and the bigger stuff took a bit, it I knew that when buying. Clumps of willow brush could be a bit harder as they can wrap around the cutter head and stop it. If you take your time and don't over load the cutter head, the willows get cut. By far much nicer to use than a brush saw. Unit overall is built well, teeth handled cutting and did not break. Vent to hydraulic tank is less than 50psi so I was informed by TMG. Would have gave a 5 star but in my case I would have liked to see more information, written or video.

Not really satisfied

Customer service was great but overall not satisfied with the mower. I managed to bend the cover of first mower I received within the first day of owning it. TMG replaced the mower within a week. No complaints there. Now that I have the replacement mower I am being ultra careful with obstructions and still have managed to bend the cover again! Definetly not the tough mulching mower for cutting 1” material that is advertised. Catching the mower on even the smallest root/stump will bend the mower cover.
